Terms of Service

Version 2026-08-18

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Quantified Holdings LLC, a West Virginia limited liability company doing business as SyndTrack (“SyndTrack,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), and govern your use of the SyndTrack platform at https://www.syndtrack.io. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Account Terms

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use SyndTrack.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or to violate any applicable laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
  • Interfere with or disrupt the platform or its infrastructure
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the platform

3. Not Investment Advice

SyndTrack is a portfolio tracking and organizational tool. It does not provide investment advice, financial advice, tax advice, or legal advice.

Any data, analytics, scores, or reports generated by SyndTrack (including AI-powered deal scoring) are for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as a basis for investment decisions. You should consult qualified financial, tax, and legal professionals before making any investment decisions.

4. Subscription & Billing

  • Free accounts are subject to usage limits as described on our pricing page.
  • Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis through Stripe.
  • The Pro plan includes a 14-day free trial that requires a valid payment method up front. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your payment method is automatically charged the then-current plan price when the trial ends, and at the start of each billing period thereafter until you cancel.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing portal. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access through that date.
  • We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

5. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you enter into SyndTrack. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.

When you choose AI parsing for an uploaded document, extracted text from that document is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to identify portfolio fields. This happens only when you explicitly request AI parsing. See our AI & Data Use policy for what leaves your account, retention, and non-AI alternatives.

When you use AI Deal Scoring, your deal data is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate scores and analysis. This processing occurs only when you explicitly request a score. Anthropic states that commercial API data is not used to train its models by default; customer opt-in or deliberate feedback may create an exception. See our Privacy Policy for full details on AI data handling.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SyndTrack and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or investment returns, arising from your use of the platform.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. To close your account, use the self-service closure flow in Settings and type the required confirmation. The flow cancels Stripe billing immediately and anonymises your profile. Your portfolio records, transactions, uploaded documents, and storage objects are kept for at least 30 days so support can reverse a mistaken closure. Full erasure of those records is carried out on request rather than automatically: send a request through the in-app help form and we complete it within 30 days of that request. Audit, legal and consent, compliance, billing-notice, and webhook records are deliberately retained. Data shared into a workspace stays with that workspace; closing-user identifiers on those shared rows are redacted when the erasure is carried out. To request account closure support, use the in-app help form when signed in, or the contact form on our help page when signed out. Support can help reverse a mistaken request during the 30-day retention window.

If you cannot sign in, submit an erasure request through the contact form; identity verification applies before we act on it.

Before requesting closure, you can download a JSON export from Settings. The export includes deals, capital calls, distributions, transactions, document metadata, profile data, and up to 5,000 audit-log rows, with temporary links for owned storage files. Closing your account cancels Stripe billing immediately.

Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately, but provisions that by their nature should survive (e.g., limitation of liability) will remain in effect.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or your use of the platform, are governed by the laws of the State of West Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.

You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in West Virginia, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts.
